Abstract To meet the requirements of 5G communication system, Doherty power amplifier has become a research hotspot because its peak-to-average ratio and high backoff efficiency. At same time, with continuous development mobile technology, traditional gradually been difficult to needs due structural problems. On one hand, limitation 1/4 wavelength transmission line in amplifier, it is achieve broadband. This paper uses post-matching technology remove broadband matching. other response energy conservation emission reduction, there growing demand reduce consumption base stations. In this design, harmonic suppression network introduced at output matching end further improve efficiency amplifier. Finally, asymmetric structure Main auxiliary transistors select Cree CGH40010F CGH40025 respectively. Based on ADS simulation design test, high-efficiency working 3.3~3.6 GHz band designed for station. The maximum saturated 44.5 dBm drain 67%~73%. When fallback 8 dB, 43%~51%.
